UxU

Uxu is an experimental modular typeface, built on a monospaced grid where every glyph is shaped around sharp, geometric forms pulled from futurist and retro sci-fi references. I wanted it to read like a set of futuristic runes, almost unreadable, leaning into ornament over function and pushing against the usual rules of legibility. I closed the project with a series of editorial poster studies, putting the typeface to work at display sizes to see how it carried across real layouts.
